Whistle blower protection 2012 bill: The amendment for the said bill is approved by the Cabinet on Thursday. The Central govt. would be appointing a nodal Officer in each department for fighting against corruption. He would be primarily responsible for checking into Whistle blowers complaints. Earlier, CVC was the competent official in this regard. Now, CVO would be authorised for it. It is due to increased complaints regarding corruption.
Pakistan: Foreign minister had hoped that the appointment of new President in Pakistan would strengthen bilateral relations. He is related to Agra and would have positive view on improving relations. Upon new State creation, he had stated that it is not dependent upon one person but opinion prevails. He rejected notion of division of UP.
Modi brand: Gujarat CM, Modi, would be finalizing plans for registering of victory on 26 seats of LokSabha during upcoming general elections. Team Modi's BJP General Secretary and National Vice President of Kisan morcha would be present for making strategy in htis regard. Then Gujarat CM, Modi, would be touring on National Campaigning. The State committee had discussed about the issues.
The strategy would be under discussion today at Gandhinagar Town hall upon the strategy for the elections. Presently, there are 17 seats of BJP followed by 09 seats of Congress. During past sub elections, Porbandar & one more seat was snatched by BJP.
Modi had inaugrated forest festival at Dwarka. He stated that during past ten years, five crore trees had been planted in forests. Four persons had been awarded too. Also, the earning stake had been distributed amongs Panchyats.
BJP Leader, Advani, had praised Modi's govt. along with Shivraj's govt. in Gujarat & M.P. respectively on Thursday stating that both govt. had provided better governance. But he had been unavailable during BJP's & RSS's meeting. BJP had issued stated it to be due to his pre-fixed programmes. BJP would go to public with cause of good governance. All three of BJP's Chief ministers are providing better governance.
Subsidized meals: Amidst Indian govt. Planning commission's definition of poverty line, the South Indian State CM had come up with a new plan for breakfast and lunch at 01 INR & 08 INR. Earlier, many leaders had claimed for 1, 5, & 12 INR as sufficient for full meals. In Chennai, around 1.5 lakh people are eating subsidized meals. People queue up in lanes and get subsidized food after around four hours of time. They get Idli/Sambhar during lunch and curd rice and sambhar rice as meals. Well class people are also found there. A total of 1,000 canteens are planned with review next month.

Federal regulators have accused a former technology manager at Green Mountain Coffee Roasters Inc. of insider trading, saying he profited by using quarterly earnings data he obtained ahead of company announcements.
The Securities and Exchange Commission announced the civil charges Friday against Chad McGinnis, formerly a systems administrator at Green Mountain, and his friend Sergey Pugach. They made a combined $7 million in illegal profits by using the inside information before 12 of Green Mountain's 13 quarterly earnings releases since 2010, the SEC said.
Waterbury, Vt.-based Green Mountain wasn't accused of wrongdoing. The company said in a statement that it is cooperating with the SEC's investigation and that it had terminated McGinnis for violations of its policy against insider trading.
Attorneys representing McGinnis and Pugach said they had no immediate comment.
McGinnis lives in Morrisville, Vt., while Pugach lives in Hamden, Conn., the SEC said.

The suspended IAS officer's case had been asked for details regarding action taken by govt. by the Lucknow Bench of High Court. The Court had declined to interfere in the suspension matter stating that if the petitioner demands, a separate petition could be put up in this regards. The Bench had apprised of the IAS official's effort in curbing Mining mafia. As SDM, IAS official had seized 24 Dumper along with 15 people by constituting a special squad. As per Bench, illegal mining causes environmental imbalance. It poses danger to the society. It had sought details from the State govt. The State govt.'s attorney had argued that only the affected person could file the petition against suspension which the Court had accepted. The Bench had sought details about the govt. action against illegal mining activities.
The next hearing is scheduled on August 19.
