Italian_marines,Anna_Hazare&Third_Front

Dear all,
Welcome.
Italian Marines: Twin marines accused for allegedly killing two Indian fishermen would not be given death sentence. Central govt. had notified to Supreme Court that both accused would be kept out of probable death sentence. Italian govt. is sternly opposing Court trial under Suppression of unlawful activities against safety of maritime navigation act and fixed platforms on continental shelf. It is to note that under the stated act, death penalty is inevitable.
During the hearing, Italian govt. had opposed it citing delay in trial proceedings while Attorney General had stated that they would have to face the result of killing two Indian fishermen. Also, Italy govt. had criticized to conduct trial under stated act of Anti-pirate and anti-terrorist laws.
It is to note that on Feb.15, 2012 two Italian marines deployed on Italian vessel "Enrika Lexi" had shot two Indian fishermen. They were arrested on Feb.19.

Anna Hazare: Yesterday, he had told to restart crusade for bringing of JanLokPal bill. He also told that he is happy after meeting CM, Kejriwal. He is working under democracy and if there is any hurdle, his resignation would be apt.
He had told reporters that he is supporting Kejriwal and if JanLokPal is not passed, he should resign. It is to note that Kejriwal had stated that he has not come to become CM but to eradicate corruption. His aim is to bring JanLokPal bill. If it is not passed, he would resign. The stated JanLokPal bill would be presented in the assembly on Thursday.

Third Front: As an alternative to Congress/BJP parties, Bihar CM had met Leftist party leaders during meeting at Ex-PM & JD(S) leader's residence. It was agreed to have one more meeting of eleven parties to form coalition. During the meeting CPI(M) Secretary, Karat, & other leaders were present. All parties would be organisng few rallies to bring leaders together.
However, third front is ruled out by Congress and BJP as their alternative.
With regards,

M.K.Pachraiya
