Dear all,
Welcome.
BMC/Campa Cola society: BMC Officials had approached society for cutting of electricity and gas connection of illegal flats. It had been opposed by residents of 102 illegal flats.
A case had been registered against society members for intervening in govt. work and grouping with wrong intention. Despite notice being issued, BMC personnel had to return bare handed.
JD(U): It's Parliamentary minister had recommended for strict action against 18 rebel MLAs who had cross voted during recent State assembly elections. He had issued a list of 18 MLAs along with a letter to National President and Ex-CM. Their actions amount to resigning from JD(U) membership. JD(U) would be taking action against them.
Spl. Status: Bihar CM had met PM Modi for grant of special status to Bihar. He had stated that to keep State's growth and attracting investors, it is necessary to have Special Backward Status. He had further stated that country's development is not possible uptil backward areas are not made partners to it. During 11th Five year plan, country's growth rate was 7% whereas it was more than 12% in Bihar.
Modi/Visa: US wants Indian PM, Modi, to address both Senate's Congressional session as is stated by two Senators. Upon invitation by Prez. Obama, it is demanded by both influential leaders that Modi may address both Congressional sessions together. Although there is no official declaration for his visit to US. It is expected that he might attend UN General Assembly session which would be held during September.
It is to note that earlier PM, Manmohan Singh, had addressed both sessions during 2005.
