Nostradamus was a 16th century fortune teller, whose prophecies regarding ruining of the world is talked of nowdays. He was a doctor & a teacher. He included prophecies in his poems & those have been interpreted.

After seven days & seven nights, dangerous things would be observed. The tide would be increased drastically and a python would be beyond sky. He would die six times before the earth and humanity would be terrorified. For the sixth in the forecast mentioned, a star would burn for 7 days, the cloud would form after two suns being present. A big dog would shout during entire night & the country would change.

Most educational & scientific sources state that Nostradamas forecast is wrongly interpreted or translated or is feeble to be presented for real future. The future predicted by Nostradamus stated the end of the world by December 21, 2012. Even Tibetan Buddhists have told about serious happenings during 2012. Many people believe that Nostradamus, in his book, Prophecies, stated incidents in various stanzas.

As per it, an arrow in Saggitarrus star sign indicates happenings, three eclipses would happen followed by earthquakes on Sun & Earth. Disasters would increase as we reach 2012. Solar storms would rise making it warm the earth so that poles may melt.
At the start of Aquarius star sign, disaster would start & most of the earth would be flooded causing loss of lives & property.
Many incidents are said to be found akin to those predicted by Nostradamus. But many things are unbelievable like Earthquake can't occur in the Sun. It needs rocky terrain, which is not on Earth. Solar storms may come but there is no major storm. Meteors falling may happen as usual.
NASA's Near Earth Object Program(NEOP) & European Space agency are monitoring such heavenly bodies orbiting earth.
The prophecy is a riddle with individuals carving out their own meanings. As per CERN laboratory deputed Indian team leader, Americans are fearful & hence predict such dangers.

Is it real that world may end by Dec 21 or 23 in the year 2012?

Nostradamas stated that he saw an fire circle nearing Earth, which could be cause for human extinction. Many believe it to be 2012.
As per him, Sun would, during 2012, divert from its original path & touch galaxy's South located Dark Rift & would not return back. This may pose danger as it would be an untoward incident.
If Third world war happens, a meteorite may fall in Indian Ocean and would cause water splashing continents therey resulting in submerging of nations. Even Earth may change its axis like the one happened with Japanese tsunami occurence. December 21 is the forecasted day for such disaster.
